Bon Jour Versailles small – a stylish LED table lamp with elegant transparent base

LED table lamp Bon Jour Versailles small is characterized by lightness and timeless lines. The lamp base and diffuser are made of transparent polymethyl methacrylate pointed casting, and the design is somewhat reminiscent of a classic candlestick of yesteryear. This “candlestick” was combined with a modern lampshade made of PMMA, which was covered with beige pleated fabric. Thus, the designer has managed to create a perfect symbiosis between the past and the future.

Through the LEDs built into the shade, which can be regulated via the integrated dimmer from 10-100%, a cozy warm white glow is created, which not only provides a cozy lighting atmosphere in the room, but also makes the clear base shine.

Phillipe Starck is a renowned designer from Paris, who designed the Bon Jour Versailles small lamp for the Italian lighting manufacturer FLOS. According to his own statement, his motto is: “The ethics of omission”, which means that the designer focuses on the essentials in his works and omits unnecessary details. However, he has made a name for himself not only by designing lamps, but also by designing the interior of the former French President Francois Mitterrand, the design of a sailing yacht for the CEO of Apple, and much more.
