However, it can be used equally well in public areas. The pendant lamp is composed of a narrow frame, which splits approximately in the middle and at each end of which is attached a lighting fixture. These modules can be rotated by 60° so that the light is directed in the desired direction. With an external dimming system (1-10V, DALI, Push-Dim, potentiometer) it is also possible to regulate the brightness of the luminaire. Almendra was conceived by designer and architect Patricia Urquiola, who always relates her projects and works to people. In addition, the Spaniard attaches great importance to sustainability, which is also evident in the hanging lamp. The plastic used is a by-product obtained during paper production. In addition, Almendra was assembled without glue, so that the item can later be taken apart and recycled depending on the material. Patricia Urquiola has been awarded several international prizes.
