The luminaire continues to impress with high color rendering (CRI 95), which is particularly close to natural light. The designer Patricia Urquiola has designed the Almendra series, placing great emphasis on the issue of sustainability. Thanks to a new technology, for the production of the lamp, a plastic was made from a liquid that escapes naturally during the production of paper. In addition, glue was not used, so that the individual parts of the lamp can be recycled separately according to their material. Patricia Urquiola’s works are exhibited in art and design museums around the world. The Spaniard has also been honored with several international prizes and awards.
